Harbor Point is proud to announce a new feature of our web site where we share some of our favorite 's photos of the area's wildlife and other natural features taken by Stephanie Parker.  Here is a sample that we call The Turtle Race.

 Bill Wargo invited us to witness the release of baby Loggerheads recently, and Stephanie took some great pictures.  Her work has recently been featured in the Tallahassee Democrat. You can see more at www.harborpointrealty.com/wildlifephotos .

I am also proud to announce that Harbor Point Realty recently closed the first brokered sale of a house on the beach in over a year on Alligator Point.  I believe the buyers got an excellent deal.  The sale generated a few offers on other beachfront properties, but none of the offers were accepted.  This is normally a slow time of the year even when there is more activity.

Interest in vacation rentals continues to increase as folks make plans for next spring break and even summer of 2008 vacations.  We have some great new vacation rentals, and we are increasing our advertising and web page features in order to keep them occupied.  Very soon guests will be able to search online for rental properties according to their desired dates and property characteristics.

The Alligator Point beach renourishment project continues to be refined as it moves closer to permitting and construction.  The Franklin County Commission is scheduled to vote on the beach renourishment assessment program on October 16, 2007 at 3:00 P.M. at the courthouse annex in Apalachicola.
